A LONG ROAD
The BFK Army was built on the back of resilience and community spirit.
BFK (Battle Fort Knox) began with good intentions in 2021, a time when the crypto market was booming, especially the Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming sector. Many projects, including BFK, aimed to revolutionize gaming, and as passionate investors, we believed in that vision. BFK gained significant backing, quickly growing from a market cap of $200k to over $7m after a successful presale and robust marketing. However, when the market crashed, BFK’s value plummeted. The revenue model, dependent on chart activity, faltered, leading to a team reshuffle. The main game developer became CEO and abruptly fired the entire team two months later.
"I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come."
- Nelson Mandela
THE BFK ARMY TAKES OVER
Alone we are strong, but together we are an army.
On the brink of seeing their investments evaporate, two investors stepped up to assist the inexperienced CEO in continuing game development. A simple 2D side scroller game was developed and released but needed major funding and further development to be competitive. Despite plans to secure VC funding, the outdated model and redundant game technology deterred investors. Meanwhile, the CEO drained all finances until resources were depleted.
The game was eventually abandoned, and suggestions by the CEO to build a new project from scratch faced resistance from investors. Fueled by mounting anger over the lack of financial support and growing resentment from within the community, the CEO swiftly dumped his tokens, totaling 4% of the supply, in a single decisive move, and shut down all social channels, the website, and all communications, in an attempt to kill the project. His public statement, "My plan was simple: press the kill switch and end it without further notice," disregarded the fact that the project and remaining liquidity were not his to kill.

The community has not taken well to the attitude of "if he can't have it, no one can”, and refused to let BFK die. Subsequently, the BFK Army was born.
Today, BFK is a community project, run by the people, for the people. It features:
- A renounced contract
- CertiK Audit
- Refreshed brand and logo
- New artwork and creative assets
- Low market cap
- Solid, locked LP
- An army of warriors standing behind it, fighting for its success
So, let us welcome you to the BFK Army, a band of soldiers originally assembled to guard Fort Knox in a whimsical game, but disbanded before our mission even began. With no home to return to, we rallied together to serve a new cause: defending the common good and battling against unscrupulous developers who abandon their communities and leave investors in the lurch. The BFK Army, now united in a quest for justice and brighter futures, stands as a testament to resilience and solidarity in the face of adversity. Together, we forge ahead, determined to protect and uphold the values of trust, integrity, and community in the crypto space.
